Aryelle Acknowledges her position as a Queer settler unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the Coast Salish people, including xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Aryelle (She/Her) stands as a Queer settler on the unceded traditional lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh peoples. With a background as a Registered Social Worker and Death Doula, Aryelle is currently completing her Masters in Social Work with UBC.
Aryelle's therapeutic practices are deeply rooted in Queer 2SLGBTQA+ affirming, person-centered, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approaches. Her core values resonate with social justice, harm reduction, and anti-racist/decolonial action. Having experienced Social Work from both perspectives as a former youth in care, Aryelle actively champions systemic injustices through education, advocacy, and community involvement.
Since 2018, Aryelle has been at the forefront of addressing the Toxic Drug Supply epidemic, from housing initiatives to spearheading Perinatal Substance Use and Harm Reduction efforts in the DTES. Her recent focus has been on facilitating community Death Cafe's, providing solace to fellow Queer individuals navigating significant loss outside of conventional family structures.
Aryelle's passion drives her commitment to supporting those with shared experiences, spanning areas such as Queer community support, ethical non-traditional relationships, environmental relations, and mental health. Aryelle specializes in assisting individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, navigating Queer intersections, supporting Former Youth in Care, and providing Death Doula services.
